How to Vote

​District voters living in Colfax county will have in-person voting on November 5.

 

For district residents living in Stanton county, this election will be an election by mail. Ballots will be mailed to registered voters to the address on his or her registration the week of October 14.​​​

​

All ballots must be returned before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 within a sealed Return Identification Envelope to your respective county election office. You may return your ballot by:

US Mail

Place your ballot in the Return Identification Envelope and mail on or before Friday, October 25. No postage is necessary since this is a general election.

         

Hand Deliver

Return the ballot to the election office during business hours or put inside the Election Drop Box outside your county election office.

IMPORTANT DATES

Week of October 14: Ballots mailed to registered voters in Stanton county for the mail-in election

 

Friday, October 18: Last day to register to vote online

 

Friday, October 25: Last day to register to vote with your county election official

​

Monday, October 28: If you are mailing your ballot, it's recommended that you mail it ASAP, but no later than October 28 to ensure it is received by November 5.

​

Tuesday, October 29: Last day to register to vote with your county election official

 

Tuesday, November 5: Election Day. If hand-delivering your ballot, please return to the county election offices by 5 p.m.

If you live in Colfax county, be sure to vote at your local polling place.
